In the summer of 2024, our name was thrown out to be interviewed by BNB's 'Vendor Diversity Specialist' and if accepted, we would be posted in BNB's monthly newsletter during August as their "Subcontractor Spotlight". As a new company, CCA owners were honored and excited to take on the task.

A true family run business. A “Mom and Pop” mentality with the results of the big kids. Owned by Hayley, Jon & Pasquale Piro, and supported by our team of 22 office & field staff who help keep things running efficiently. We are a collective that strives to get the job done in an environment where productivity and contentment are viewed equally.
CCA was formed in January of 2023. We have all worked for other d/f/h subcontractors in San Diego and decided it was time to do it for ourselves. We love the challenges that come with the trade that most general contractors have a bad taste for. Our goal is to change their mindset and bring reliability back to our division.
We are still the new kid on the block, but our sales have grown to more than we envisioned. Our customers that we have taken care of for so many years continue to support our team.
Getting our direct accounts with all our manufacturing partners in the time frame we did. The support from our manufacturers helped us hit the ground running and stay competitive in an aggressive market. The confidence they had in us outshines any doubt we may have had at the start. It gave us the determination needed to push harder and we are thankful for all of them.
As a small business in commercial d/f/h construction, our biggest struggle is cash flow. For our scope, materials are paid for when they ship out of manufacturing or within 30 days & job payments can take a while to receive. Staying ahead of it can be challenging.
Our dedication to excellence. Of course, issues occur, but when they do, we strive to correct rapidly. Our goal is and has always been to give the customer exactly what they asked and paid for.
We are currently on Kingstreet Properties, BMS Vivarium and have completed the Roselle TI job as material supply only.
It plays into our logo. Guns and doors, how did they come up with that? Well to us
they both require the same level of planning, precision, and execution. Whether we are putting a hole in a piece of paper X number of yards down range or getting a dimension for a door that we will not see for 8+ weeks, the idea is to hit the bullseye or CL every time. When you are looking at our logo, you are behind the lens, looking through the reticle, zeroed in on the Centerline. We try to keep the same amount of attention to detail in our profession as we do in our hobby. The pictures were a fun way to get people talking.
When most people leave a company or decide to go out on their own, there is usually a tense relationship with the former employer. However, upon our decision to depart from CMS Interiors, they took the news in rare form. They were supportive of our decision, and we were able to collectively work out an agreement that was favorable to all parties. We are still actively working on CMS projects and will continue to do so until the contracted scope is complete, anticipating Q1 2025.
